All you need is a few minutes, 2 ingredients, an ice cube tray (or silicone baking mold) and a freezer.

Here are simple 2-ingredient dog pupsicle (dog-friendly popsicle treats) recipes to make for your fur friend to enjoy on hot summer days!

Bonus points: When your dogs puprove of your delicious pupsicles, Gordon Ramsay will appear in your kitchen to high-five your pups and shout compliments at you.

Yogurt and Berries Pupsicles

  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries 
  • 10 ounces of plain, unsweetened yogurt (non-xylitol)
Combine spoonfuls of fruit and yogurt into silicone treat molds or ice cube trays.
(Do not use yogurt that contains xylitol as it is toxic to dogs.)

Pumpkin and Banana Pupsicles

  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1/4 cup canned pumpkin puree
Combine spoonfuls of mashed banana and pumpkin puree into treat molds or ice cube trays.

Watermelon and Yogurt Pupsicles

  • 2 cups chopped seedless watermelon
  • 1 cup plain, unsweetened yogurt
Puree watermelon chunks until smooth with a blender or food processor. Combine spoonfuls of watermelon and yogurt into each treat mold.

    Banana and Peanut Butter Pupsicles

    • 2 very ripe bananas (mashed)
    • 2 -4 tablespoons peanut butter

    Melt peanut butter in microwave for 10-20 seconds until pourable. Pour peanut butter into each mold, saving room to top with mashed banana.

    For all of these recipes:

    • After combining spoonfuls of the ingredients into the treat mold tray, place the tray in the freezer until the Pupsicles are solid - about 4 hours.
    • Remove treats from the treat mold or ice cube tray and store in an air-tight container in the freezer.

    Food Advisories:

    As you know, not all dogs have the same diet. Please consult your veterinarian before feeding these foods to your pet. Some foods and ingredients have high sugar content and need to be used in moderation.

    Remember to use these treats and snacks in moderation, especially when trying new foods with your dog. Some pups have sensitive stomachs, and the addition of new foods may cause digestive issues. Make sure to figure these treats into your dog's daily or weekly food amount to avoid unnecessary weight gain. Learn about foods you should never feed your dog here.
